Refund & Cancellation Policy

Version 1.0 · Effective 2026-05-18

This policy explains how subscription billing, cancellation, refunds, automatic renewal, and price changes work for Orvica products. It supplements the General Terms of Service §10 (Fees and billing).

1. General rule

Except where required by law or expressly stated in an applicable order form, subscription fees are non-refundable and non-creditable.

2. Cancellation

You may cancel a subscription at any time through your account settings at orvica.co/account. Cancellation stops future billing but does not refund amounts already paid.

3. Access through end of billing period

If you cancel during a billing period, you will retain access to paid features until the end of that billing period unless your account is terminated for violation of the Terms.

4. Automatic renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled. At checkout we disclose “Your subscription renews automatically every month [or year] until canceled. You may cancel anytime in account settings. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.” You provide affirmative consent to automatic renewal by completing checkout.

5. Price changes

We may change prices by providing at least 30 days' advance notice. Price changes apply at the start of the next billing period after the notice period unless otherwise stated. If you do not agree to a price change, your sole remedy is to cancel before the new price takes effect.

6. Failed payments

If a payment fails, we will retry the charge and may suspend access to paid features until payment is current. Stripe (our payment processor) may also retry the charge per its own retry schedule.

7. Taxes and fees

You are responsible for applicable taxes, payment-card fees, failed-payment charges, chargeback fees, and other amounts permitted by law. Subscription prices are stated exclusive of tax unless explicitly noted.

8. Volt merchant fees

Volt fees are charged per transaction at the standard Stripe processing rate (2.9% + 30¢ for card-present transactions in the U.S., subject to change by Stripe). These fees are deducted from each transaction by Stripe before payout. Optional instant-payout fees apply only when you elect instant payouts. See the Volt Merchant Agreement for full detail.

9. Statutory consumer-protection rights

Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable consumer-protection rights you may have under applicable law (e.g., chargeback rights under your card-network terms; statutory cooling-off periods in some jurisdictions).
